| My friend helped me a few days ago with my eating regiment. If you are bulking up, you should get to around 3400-3500 calories per day, with a balanced mix of protein/carbs/fat everyday. Ask someone who has been bodybuilding for a while, they know different eating regiments that would work for you. |

Yeah, you definitely need to be eating more. I recommend Protein Shakes if you are trying to bulk up; they are easy to make and pretty cheap if you buy the powder from eBay. Tuna and chicken are the two things you really can't eat enough of when bulking. They are probably the most common things to see in a Body Builder's afternoon and evening meal. And snack on nuts if you like them!
A pretty common bulking breakfast example:
2x Eggs 4x Egg whites 1/2 cup Oatmeal Protein Shake
Something to keep in mind as well - although I would always recommend eating 'good' food over fast food/candy etc, if you are trying to bulk and simply not eating enough, a Big Mac is gonna help you out much more than not eating anything extra at all. This only applies while bulking though. I just know that it's not always easy to eat a lot and eat well while still at school. |

Hm of course you can variate your meals/breakfast alot! This also helps your stomach so it doesn't get bored of what you're eating
Oh and I don't know about what kind of eggs you all are talking? Boiled eggs? Fried eggs? Does an Omelett work too? |

Fried - not so much. Boiled/Scrambled/Omelette - all good. Personally, I have plastic egg dishes that I put in the microwave for 1.5 minutes to 'boil' my eggs; ridiculously easy.
In regards to cholesterol - I honestly never really looked into it. I know that keeping healthy and active is a great fighter against high cholesterol, so I've never really cared. |

| Oi, First timer here. Almost the same prob as Blukkie, I cant really gain weight, so I need some advice on what to do aka how to eat and workout.
Normal day of eating - Breakfast (2-3 sandwiche) 7,30 - Lunch (Cooked meal, 0-2 plates depending on if its good or not) 11-12 - Snacks(Mostly some sort of crap like a cookie or something ) 14-15 - Dinner (Cooked meal, Most often things lika pasta or potatoes + 200~ g meat) 17-18 - On the evening I eat something like 2 sandwiches and a fruit or something 21-23
Some info on me age: 18 height: 200cm weight: 73-75kgs (depeding on what time of year it is, cus of hollidays and stuff and also thats just muscle bones and tendons aka 0% fat)
Traning: Somehow I think Im a person thats quite fit naturally cus I havnt really trained serious anytime but I still got the same strength compared to ppl that has been doing sports. My stamina sucks but hey thats what WoW does to you
Now to the problem, during the spring term I workedout about 2-3 times a week but it didnt give me anything, I didnt gain any wieght or muscles, now during the summer ill take a break cus I got other things going on but when school starts again I would like to begin training again and see some effect.
Im thinking about following 7:s workout tutorial but his eating scheduale is crazy for me and I dont think ill be sipping protein shakes either.
Im not plannig on getting super fit or strong just to gain abit more meat on my bones whether it will be muscle or fat or a mix of both.
Thanks in advance ~Redd |

| | I was pretty skinny a year ago, and still am. Not that skinny tho. I was 192cm and 70kilos. I started going to gym, taking prot shake almost every day and eating what I liked best (alot of junk food) My weight increased to 80kilos in 4months. Yeah, not that much, but I have always had hard time getting weight so it was much for me. Then when I was pleased to my weifght, I just stopped taking prot shakes every day(I still take em sometimes as recovery drink) and eating that much. And I continued going to gym, so now most of that gained weight is muscle, and I weight 78kg. |

Okey, That sounds reasonable to me, How often did you workout at the gym? Also what would be a good beginer brand of protein shakes?
