PostSubject: Compositing mode.   Sun May 18 2008, 23:00

Hi there,

I've been working on a project and wanted to add an "starwars credit roll effect". Now i've been that lucky that i have a vegas tut cd where they explain alot of things. (Also the starwars effect.)

But somewhere during the tut i needed to change 1 video track (there were 3 needed for that effect) into "child compositing mode" and another in "Parent compositing mode".

Now i've done that, and the effect is working good.

BUT :

Now when i want to preview my project it will not show it on the preview.

The only thing i can see on my preview is my "starwars credit roll effect".

My question :

How can i make my project viewable again?

I'm kinda new to vegas so don't blame me plz Very Happy

Thanks for reading and a possible solution Smile

Gr Dash

*Edit*

It seems like that track 1 (the one with the credit roll text) overrules track 2 (the one where the rest of my video files are) Because the credit roll takes place after 15 sec and only then (while my video's are allready supposed to play) i can see something in my preview.

Only in the preview you say? You do see it when you render the movie?
If so, then I can only tell you that it is a bug, I can't see anything preventing it from showing in the preview. D:

Ok, mijk solved the problem for me (half).

The X in the 2nd track on the compositing mode was the problem. It was Multiply mask, when i turned it back to Source alpha the track appeared again.

However, the "starwars scroll" doesn't show properly now. But i hop i can fix that Smile
